Primary Tasks:

This position is responsible for sending and receiving items and information by physically transporting them between sites within the City. Assists in cleaning the command center areas, making coffee, photocopying, posting notices and other administrative duties.

Information:

This position is a volunteer, non-employment position with the City of Austin. In times of emergency volunteers may be activated by the City to respond to the emergency.

Minimum
Qualifications:

High school or GED. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Ability to accept direction. Ability to use initiative and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Ability to perform effectively in an emergency. Skill in handling hostile, conflict, and uncertain situations.

Licenses:

Valid TX class C Drivers License Required.
