Primary Tasks:

Answer incoming customer calls and emails in a timely fashion. Resolve customer software issues if possible, escalating unresolved cases and necessary .

Additional
Information:

This position is a volunteer, non-employment position with the City of Austin. In times of emergency volunteers may be activated by the City to respond to the emergency.

Minimum
Qualifications:

Proficiency with computers in a Windows environment and an understanding of how computer function and previous experience providing first level support. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform effectively in an emergency. Skill in handling hostile, conflict, and uncertain situations.



Licenses:

Valid TX class C Drivers License Required.
