Primary Tasks:

Provide technical training of individual or groups. Design, perform and analyze training needs of volunteer and guests during emergency conditions. Develop, schedule, coordinate and deliver training modules, workshops and facilitation techniques to selected audiences. Provide one-on-one training to City staff, emergency responders and guests.

Information:

This position is a volunteer, non-employment position with the City of Austin. In times of emergency volunteers may be activated by the City to respond to the emergency.

Minimum
Qualifications:

High school or GED. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Previous experience supporting the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office applications. Basic networking skills including TCP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless. Ability to perform effectively in an emergency. Skill in handling hostile, conflict, and uncertain situations.



Licenses:

Valid TX class C Drivers License Required.
